    Ranked by ENR among the Top 100 Contractors and Top 100 Design/Builders in the nation, McShane Construction has an opportunity on a new construction project for Digi-Key in Thief River Falls, MN. The Field Clerk will assist with certified payroll and other administrative duties associated with the construction of a new four-story, 2.2 million square foot warehouse facility for Digi-Key. The building will be constructed on a site adjacent to Digi-Key’s current headquarters facility and will house state-of-the-art automated product storage and conveyor systems and feature a skyway link to an existing facility, shipping and receiving docks and airlocks, multiple break rooms and employee engagement areas, and walking trails.



    The project will run through August, 2019. The hours for the position are 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. Full-time employees are eligible for employee benefits including group health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, 15 PTO days, and company holidays.


    • Create a weekly certified payroll report that shows the wages paid to each worker
    • Audit and correct subcontractor certified payroll reports
    • File and maintain hard copies of certified payroll reports
    • Document and track contractor’s statements for sales tax
    • Document and track contractor compliance with Digi-Key ISU Certification
    • Maintaining all site permits and inspectors’ signatures
    • Contacting subcontractors via email and telephone in reference to site specific issues
    • Maintaining daily tradesmen sign-in and delivery sheets
    • Maintaining orderliness of the job site trailer
    • Supporting the superintendents and the project team with various administrative and field activities
    • Receptionist duties including answering phones and greeting visitors
